Chūō Street is a wide thoroughfare in the heart of Ginza, extremely popular at weekends when it becomes pedestrianized and onlookers lounge on tables and chairs. It's known as the "pedestrian paradise". It's the neighborhood's must-see passageway. You can see the Seiko clock (renovated in 2021-2022) or the emblematic Sony, as well as all the luxury stores in buildings with eclectic contemporary architecture. Kimuraya-pan, the famous bakery, Itoya, Ginza Six and Fuugetsudo all line this street.
