A small collection of sculptures by Fumio Asakura (1883-1964), considered the father of modern Japanese sculpture to the point that he is sometimes called the "Japanese Rodin". Twenty of his works are exhibited in rotation in his former residence, which he designed himself, as well as the typically Japanese gardens. The materials used were of such high quality that the house has been preserved in its original state. The ensemble, nestled in the Yanaka district, is a must-see, and perfect for a quiet cultural interlude.
