Sōmen noodles are ideal for cooling off in the summer, especially if you play catch in slippery pipes.
Sōmen are very fine noodles usually served cold. Their freshness and lightness make them a very popular dish in the overwhelming heat of summer. This restaurant offers sōmen with a little twist. Rather than being served in a bowl or dish, sōmens slide into long bamboo pipes and you have to catch them as they pass by. A little dexterity with the chopsticks is required, but the entertainment is guaranteed. To make sure you don't spoil anything, the noodles are delicious, just like the other dishes on the menu. Closed in winter.
