Behind the main pavilion of the Hasedera, this restaurant, whose modest décor is reminiscent of a cafeteria, offers entirely vegetarian cuisine that follows Buddhist principles. Service is provided in part by monks from the temple. The menu is fairly limited: vegetarian pasta or curry, but tasty and served with care. Apart from the food, the main attraction of the place is the beautiful bay window overlooking the Pacific. You come out feeling full, peaceful and reassured by the beauty of the blue ocean. A good choice on a sunny day.
