This restaurant is a bit far from the tourist circuit, nestled in the hills of Kamakura. It is built in the former residence of rich farmers, and surrounded by gardens which are worth a walk. One comes here for the lovely setting, but also for the variety of the menus offered. The most affordable is the soba-based menu around ¥2,000, but one can also choose a bentō menu composed of multiple small seasonal dishes or, more luxurious, the kaiseki menu, which is a delight for the eyes as much as for the taste buds.
