RUE KOMACHI
Difficult to miss when coming out of the east side of Kamakura station, Komachi shopping street is always crowded with visitors. it is said that 18 million people come here every year. It must be said that in this alley which leads to Hachimangu shrine, you can find everything, and sometimes surprising things. A nice place to go window-shopping, or to taste local desserts and specialties. Kamakura area is especially known for shirasu, small white fishes which are served here with all kinds of sauces. Slip into the adjacent alleys too!
