Nikkō's oldest and most classic hotel, opened in 1873. Located above the sacred bridge, on the hill. It combines rather rustic European elements with traditional Japanese ones. Famous guests have included Lindbergh, Indira Gandhi, Einstein and Rockfeller. Beautiful buildings in which the magic of Japan blends with a certain idea of luxury. The hotel is also renowned for its DACITE bar, offering no fewer than 200 types of single malt whisky and a wide range of cocktails.
