This restaurant specializes in "kappo" cuisine, a way of preparing meat and fish typical of some high quality establishments. The lunch menu is quite affordable, and the dinner is royal. You can taste fish as well as obanzai, small dishes prepared simply with vegetables from the Kyoto area. Amago fish (a kind of Pacific red salmon), fugu and other kinds rare in the West are on the menu of this very good address. You can also sit at the counter to watch the chef.
