Facing Togetsukyo and the Katsura River, this restaurant allows you to admire the view of the water and the bridge. Given its location, you'd think it was a tourist trap, but not at all. The buckwheat noodles (soba) are fresh and fluffy, and the assortments are varied and exquisite for a very reasonable price. A menu of tasty buckwheat-based desserts is also available. All in all, there's something romantic about the place, and a touch of contemplative melancholy. The place is popular and reservations are recommended.
