Located in Kyoto's Sakyo district, the 4-star Hotel Yoshida Sanso is housed in a traditional Japanese building dating from the 1930s. Decorated with antiques and stained-glass windows, it offers a refined, authentic atmosphere. The hotel is close to Jingu-Marutamachi railway station and the famous Kiyomizu-dera Buddhist temple. Standard rooms offer mountain or garden views and are equipped with tatami, futon, chabudai coffee table and private bathroom. They also feature free Wi-Fi access, TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. A cottage with kitchenette is also available for larger families. The hotel offers free breakfast and limited parking. Guests can enjoy the garden, the regional restaurant with large picture windows and the tea room with mountain views. The Shinkokan café offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel has recently reopened after renovations and is now accepting bookings for summer and autumn 2023.
