An institution created by designer Shigeo Mashiro to promote ancestral materials and traditional know-how through innovative contemporary objects. Renovated in 2003, this building with its original architecture combines design, craftsmanship, art and gastronomy. There is a fine selection of design and craft items, a very pleasant bar-café where you can rest for a while and enjoy a pastry shop, as well as an exhibition area hosting various artistic events.
