This temple is located west of the San-Mon gate. This is the best known because of its dry garden (kare-sansui) designed by Motonobu Kanō. It contains, among other things, ink paintings in China, a famous work performed by Zen Josetsu, Hyonen-Zu or the catfish caught with a gourd.
