This park is always seen in Kyōto as a haven of calm, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Gardens, ponds, flowers of flowers and trees form the home of shops and restaurants that attract parents and children on weekends. The peaceful atmosphere of the park suddenly changes in April, at the time of the hanami (contemplation of cherry trees), when groups mood by sake and beer try to get closer to a special cherry, shidarezakura (cherry version of a weeping willow).
