It is both the workshop and the residence of one of the most famous Japanese potters and ceramics, Kawai Kanjirō. You can see his pottery, but also the oven and old Japanese furniture. The house is located in the heart of a district named Gojō-zaka, which has become famous for its shops which spread pottery often of bad taste.
