In this 400-meter-long alley, parallel to the Shijō-dōri, you'll find the city's liveliest historic food market. It's popular with locals and tourists alike. You'll find all kinds of foods here, from the more familiar like tofu or ice cream to the less common, like certain spices and condiments and some kinds of exotic fish. Samples can be sampled in some stores. Although crowded, the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. Not to be missed!

A ne pas rater

Le marché de Nishiki est une longue artère avec une verrière colorée. On trouve des magasins de chaque côté, avec de quoi très bien manger, voir trop manger vu le nombre de magasins. Les prix sont globalement corrects et les plats très appétissants.
