The headquarters of the Ballet Nacional, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Montevideo and the Compañía Nacional de Danza. It also hosts other artistic performances such as classical music concerts, dance shows, operas and plays. The building has several rooms and spaces dedicated to culture and the arts. The main hall, called Sala Eduardo Fabini, can accommodate up to 2,000 spectators. Tickets are very affordable.
