Day where visitors can discover the cultural, architectural and heritage wealth of the country for free.
Every year, at the beginning of October, Uruguay celebrates Heritage Day by highlighting the jewels of its cultural heritage. During this day, several historical and heritage buildings are opened to the public, allowing visitors to access places such as public buildings, museums, theaters, churches and other cultural sites that are not usually open. Guided tours, concerts, exhibitions and workshops are organized to enrich this unique cultural experience.
