This neoclassical house, built in 1782, was designed by José Toribio and renovated in 1831 when Antonio Montero, a merchant of the time, bought it. Nicknamed the "marble palace", it is organized around a single patio and today houses the Museo Romántico, which exhibits a wide range of 19th century high society furniture, clothes, porcelain and portraits of the bourgeoisie of the past, often without names or dates...
