NAVAL MUSEUM

This charming and modest museum presents different rooms dedicated to the military and naval history of the country. One of them is dedicated to the discovery of America, with models of lighthouses and ships, the epic of Captain Miranda and many objects related to the navy. Another is dedicated to the Second World War and the sinking of the Graf Spee, a German battleship that scuttled in the River Plate in 1939 to avoid capture by British ships. At the entrance, visitors can see one of its cannons.
