Located in the Palacio Municipal de Montevideo (Intendencia), this museum has a permanent collection spread over four floors (accessible to wheelchairs) presenting artistic and cultural works from different regions and eras, including Prehistory, Egypt, Iran, Greece and pre-Columbian cultures. Visitors will be able to admire high quality reproductions as well as originals. For a complete visit, allow approximately two hours.
