This museum exhibits ceramic tiles, known asazulejos, from various parts of the world and covering a period from the 19th century to the present. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum presents temporary exhibitions, ceramic workshops and cultural events. The tiles on display are donated by the architect Alejandro Turcio and illustrate the different types used in Uruguay until the 1930s. An ideal destination for art, history and Latin American culture enthusiasts.
