CASA DE LA CULTURA
This public building, built in 1870, was first the headquarters of the customs office and later became the economic and administrative council of the department of Maldonado. Since 1984, it has become the headquarters of the Municipal Intendencia and also houses the Directorate of Culture, the Municipal School of Plastic Arts, the Museo San Fernando, the Municipal Library and the Conservatory.
