LA VIUDA DE JOSÉ IGNACIO
A recent hotel that was conceived and managed by Oswaldo Muratorio, an Argentinean who was formerly interior decorator. Built in a natural, wild and restful environment, 200 metres from the beach, the Viuda of José Ignacio manages to combine modern comfort with simplicity, with a view to respecting nature (planted plant species do not need water). Each room has a flat screen TV, a private terrace with a sun lounger, a whirlpool, an exceptional bedding, a safe, air conditioning, Wi-fi connection. The room is very clean and comfortable. A small originality, the rooms are not numbered, but are differentiated by a unique sculpture made by the Uruguayan artist Veronica Artacaveytia, who has a workshop open to the public in the heart of the village. Other sculptures are in the garden, near the swimming pool. Combining the old and the design, the hotel is well equipped with very airy spaces. The objects and furniture dating from the years 1950-60 were excavated by Oswaldo himself, then recycled or renovated. Each object fits perfectly into the decor. For its owner, the most important thing is that the customer'feel at ease '; he describes his hotel as a "simple but comfortable place, where attention to the client first of all". And it's really successful. Delicious breakfast prepared with fresh products, everything is home. An excellent address for you.
