Also known as casa de Palacios, this museum is housed in an original Portuguese house dating from the first half of the 18th century, whose walls, floor and ceiling have been preserved. The house has belonged to the Palacios family since the last century and now houses an archive on the city. The local history and the evolution of the historic district in the process of being listed as a World Heritage Site are highlighted. It is accessed through a beautiful patio to the north of the building.
