This stone house dating from the Portuguese era offers a delightful view of the River Plate. Built in a typical Portuguese architectural style, it currently houses a collection of more than 5,000 ceramic objects (azulejos) dating from the late 18th to the 19th century. It is interesting to note that these tiles do not come from Portugal, but from the town of Desvres in the Pas-de-Calais, known for its earthenware production. Paintings, sculptures and pottery are also part of the exhibition, making it a charming visit.
