The Rambla de Nueva Palmira is a pleasant walk that stretches for about four kilometers along the west bank of the Uruguay River, from the Las Higueritas basin to the replica of the Mayo Pyramid in Buenos Aires. It begins at the sundial, which was donated to the community of Nueva Palmira by the Italian Society in 1981 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the city's foundation. Along the way, visitors can admire the bust of Artigas and a fountain. Festivals and cultural activities are held here in the summer.
