The Rambla Costanera of the Uruguay River starts on the north side of the Roosevelt Park, runs along the banks of the river and ends at the Barrio Anglo, where the new bridge across the Laureles River (built in 1966) is located. Designed in 1940 by the architects Carlevaro and Abella Trías, it was renovated in 2000. This picturesque promenade is a place of relaxation and recreation, ideal for fishing or running, while the river is suitable for sailing and rowing, with competitions held every year.
