MUSEO EDMUNDO PRATI
The museum presents an exhibition of works in plaster, bronze and low relief by Edmundo Prati (1889-1970), a sculptor from Paysandú who trained in Italy in the 1930s. Visitors will be able to admire some of his most famous pieces, such as "La Cabeza del Caballo" and "El Ciudadano y el Gaucho", presented in the Plaza Artigas, as well as other creations installed in the Legislative Palace and the Salto Cathedral. Prati is also the author of the Luis Alberto de Herrera monument located on General Flores Avenue in Montevideo.
