This museum was opened in 1943 by Don Washington Escobar and houses a collection of objects that belonged to the Charrua indigenous people, in addition to some gaucho utensils and historical coins. Weapons and decorative accessories from the Chaco and Paraguayan Indians are also on display. Although the museum can be visited quickly, it is worthwhile to go there, especially during the Fiesta de la Patria Gaucha.
