Built in 1802 by the famous Uruguayan architect H. T. Arocena, in collaboration with Elciario Boix, this church played an important role in the history of the city and its own denomination. Located in front of the Plaza Constitución, it is a witness to the founding process of the region. Inside, we can admire a magnificent oil painting made in 1940 by the great national artist, José Luis Zorilla de San Martin, representing the Holy Trinity.
