It is certainly the most famous club for tourists, but, according to the locals, far from being the most authentic. Santurce Salsa Club was founded in 2019 by a Frenchman, nicknamed Giovanni. Nevertheless, the salsa evenings hosted by Giovanni are successful and delight budding dancers. Beginners can learn in couples, and start to enjoy the nightly atmosphere of La Placita, every day at 7pm (additional class at 8pm from Thursday to Saturday). Between 2 and 6 couples per session (classes are given in English).
