CASA BACARDI

On the other side of the bay of San Juan, opposite El Morro Castle, is the main factory producing the famous Bacardi rum, whose international reputation is well established. Guided tours are available all day long to meet a real institution in Puerto Rico. From the company's creation in 1862 to the present day, the entire history of the brand has been retraced in the various rooms of this factory museum. Two types of visits are available: a visit focused on the history of the brand and the second on tasting. Unfortunately, the two are not compatible and, since November 2014, entry has been charged and relatively expensive in view of the quality of the proposed visit. The advantage of the distillery is its mixology course around 3 cocktails based on Bacardi of course, offered for 60 US$.
