GRAN MELIÁ PUERTO RICO GOLF RESORT * * * * *
The establishment is imposing, but it must be recognized that the effect is successful. The Gran Meliá village with its 544 suites has perfectly integrated into the site, facing the sea, where the wind never fails to tickle coconut trees. The architecture of the immense hall of entry plunges the host into a religious and colonial atmosphere. The comfortable lounge chairs of the bar allow time to admire the landscape, if sleep does not win you. Everyone seems to appreciate the place, even the lizards running through the corridors. The common space, housing the swimming pool and completely open on the ocean, is absolutely superb. The luxurious rooms feature châtelaine decoration, which combines warm and warm tones. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the kitchen side, everyone will find their happiness. The management offers its guests a varied cuisine, accessible in the Gran Meliá's 5 bars and restaurants. The chic and distinguished Tempo steaks and pasta serve one of the best Italian cuisines on the island. At the Nami Asian Bistro, the house also tried Japanese cuisine, with a little less success this time, the sushi being disappointing on the whole. Moreover, the Pasion by Chef Myrta, who proposes in the evening, a particularly tasty Puerto Rican cuisine. Café Soleil offers Creole cuisine, while 2 bars, one outdoors and one indoors, serve as good snacks. In such a luxurious location, the hotel's administration has not forgotten all the ingredients that invite relaxation: Spa, massages and… golf, the circuit is magnificent. Amateurs will appreciate. At this price and in these conditions, necessarily a good 5-star address.
