Built in 1833, this hacienda has long dominated the national production of coffee, but also of corn. The plantation remained in operation until the late 1950s. Today, the site has been converted into an open-air museum to delve into the agricultural past of the Caribbean. Old working tools are exposed. Most of the buildings are grouped on 3 of the 87 hectares of the property. You will visit the main house of the hacienda, stables, a hurricane shelter, a mill, and what once made up the production fields.
