The church of San Germán de Auxerre is named after Doña Germana de Foix, second wife of King Ferdinand the Catholic. Although the building dates back to 1739, it is still used to celebrate masses. Built in a neoclassical style during a reconstruction in 1878, this beautiful white church has one of the most decorated interiors in the country. It has three large naves, ten altars, a portico and a tower with a bell tower (rebuilt in 1959).
