Absolutely unmissable. The site alone is worth the detour, early in the morning, and especially in the evening with the sunset. From the top of the superb reddish limestone cliffs, surrounded by lagoons and marshes, the lighthouse, which marks the extreme southwestern point of the country, dominates the Cabo Rojo region. The view is breathtaking. The lighthouse was built in 1882. The old cast iron lantern still houses the original lighting device, a lenticular lens manufactured by the French company Sautter, Lemonnier et Cie.

a beautiful beach below between ocean and salines, magnificent
