CATEDRAL SAN FELIPE APOSTOL

We are far from the architectural grandeur and ornamental richness of some South American cathedrals, but Arecibo's is still the second largest church in Puerto Rico. The last time architects and workers touched it up was in 1846. Since then, the City Council has made only minor alterations to better preserve it. Some of the stained glass windows and statues inside were imported from Spain in the mid-19th century.
