Only 3 km east of the lighthouse, still along the PR-681, is the impressive Cueva del Indio, the "Cave of the Indian", a rock formation on the seashore that forms a large natural shelter above the water. Impressive cave surrounded by spectacular cliffs. It is indicated by a large sign. The most courageous will go there on foot, with adapted shoes and a good dose of caution. An advice, take a lamp to illuminate the pre-Columbian petroglyphs inscribed in the rock by the Taino Indians 500 years ago.
