CAPITAINERIE
Port Leucate is a marina in the Mediterranean town of Leucate. Built in the 1960s, it is one of the largest European marinas in the region. The port offers an exceptional haven and stopover in the heart of unspoilt nature, between sea and lake. It boasts several basins set in the heart of the village, with a marina in the naturist village. At present, the harbour boasts 1,400 berths in three basins, plus onshore parking for 350 boats. The management of the port is focused on environmental protection, and the commune of Leucate has been awarded the European Blue Flag for ports for the year 2022. In addition to the harbour master's office and its services, the technical area houses various nautical professionals, such as shipyards, shipchandlers and a sailmaker. The port also boasts a fishermen's quay where you can buy fresh fish directly from the boats.
