ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH
A small mountain church of St. John the Baptist, with a facade adorned by a beautiful sundial, and a bell tower
In the whole valley, as is often the case in the mountains, the religious heritage is very important: churches and chapels are numerous to testify to this architecture. This is the case of the small mountain church Saint-Jean-Baptiste, dating from 1783. Its facade is decorated by a magnificent sundial that bears the inscription "God alone is eternal, already far from you". In 1873, a new bell tower was built next to the building, replacing a wooden bell tower on top of the church.
