LA BRACONNE
Restaurant-bar with terrace offering plates of regional products of the soil and the sea.
This place has been run by the same family for generations; it is a restaurant-bar-ice cream shop. Specialising in seafood, and for a good reason, the father and the son Descarriere are professional fishermen who, when they are not on their boat, go to buy at the Arcachon fish market to supply the restaurant and the neighbouring fish shop. The presentation of the dishes is neat and regional, regional products of the terroir and the sea follow one another in the plate: fish soup, spicy stuffed crab, pan-fried foie gras, crab with mayonnaise... for starters. As for the dishes: the famous Braconne mussels (cream, mushrooms and diced bacon), godaille de matelot (fish range), the delicious pan-fried scallops with porto ... You will have to wait the fulll season to enjoy a good seafood platter. Original, yes, but also gourmet, the homemade O Sorbet d'Amour ice-creams will delight you and the cocktails will brighten you. Superb wine list including Vic-Bilh pacherenc, Colombelle... The terrace is very pleasant under the sun, with lovely chocolate contemporary furniture.

We have 2 plates to €26 room.
A little aggravated by a waiter which whistles away happily constantly, the restaurant is empty, the plateau is cool but served crab is a baby crab cut into two, I allow me to tell him and this monsieur also me " if you are still hungry, eat bread. I found that very riding.
It makes me to explain why the large back - up empty and the small full, I tell him then offers 1 per person. End of meal very stretched atmosphere. I would not get there even longer if I understand that the season is very sad and that guests are rare.
Je recommande n hésitez pas à aller chez eux
