LE PIT
Restaurant with terrace in Mimizan-Plage with a simple and warm decoration.
A simple and warm decoration, a table set up in the dining room or under the covered terrace, a warm welcome from Fabrice and his team... and remarkable flavours. The setting of the Pit, in the heart of the pedestrian streets of Mimizan, is set. Every lunchtime, the market menu is displayed on the slates, with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts. On that day, our choice is made on the menu, with, as tapas, cromesquis of pig's feet with foie gras, a duo of tuna and beef samoussas, and scampi just roasted breaded with cocoa crane. Delicious! Then, Chef Jordan concocted chipirons with fine cod stuffing, ginger and mascarpone, lobster bisque, chorizo oil and Espelette sesame sweet tile, but also a restaurant classic, the matured entrecote (charolaise) fried in clarified butter, garlic, candied shallots and homemade chips. Here too, a real success! Finally, a sweetness: the raspberry bavarian with a flowing heart. You can also choose one of the many ice creams made by a master craftsman. With its constantly evolving menu, its quality products - the fish come from the various Landes auctions -, its cellar equipped with pretty favourites and its bar with carefully selected cocktails, the Pit is undoubtedly an essential address.
