BACKPACK ALASKA

This incoming agency is the first one founded and operated by a woman in Alaska. Kathryn Walsh has traveled from Nome, Alaska's northernmost city, to California since childhood. She has traveled the wildest corners of the state with her backpack and her thirst for wild discovery. Woman versus wild! The flagship tour is a 6-day women's trek in the Talkeetna Mountains. Other mixed tours are organized for example on the Seven Pass Route, the North Wrangell and the Skolai Pass in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.
