A site with many photos and texts allowing to go back in the events of the Second World War
Dutch Harbor was bombed by the Japanese during World War II, who then arrested the villagers as prisoners of war. This site, managed by and belonging to the First Nations, traces this history. Walking through this vast area allows you to immerse yourself in the events of the time. Numerous bunkers, barracks and other installations bear witness to the era and the drama. Numerous photos and texts will teach you a lot.
