HOWLING DOG SALOON

Located in Fox, a few kilometers north of Fairbanks, the Howling Dog Bar & Saloon is an institution in this interior region of Alaska for its lively and often thematic evenings (karaoke nights, Halloween, etc.) with live music. Here, one comes to taste a good burger or rather rustic, copious and affordable dishes, to play horseshoes (a local game of skill) or to taste a beer at the counter while listening to the stories of one's chair neighbors and chatting until late in the weekend.
