Sold as the main attraction of Fairbanks, this cruise on the Chena and Tanana rivers is controversial. It allows you to discover the past of the Chena Indians with their traditions, to see a bush pilot take off, or to see the summer training of a musher and his sled dogs. Unfortunately, the staging is crude and touristy, it can make you uncomfortable, the price exorbitant. Also, seeing reindeer locked in a tiny pen is not a pleasant sight.
