THE AMERICAN BALD EAGLE FOUNDATION
Museum in Haines presenting the protection and conservation work of the bald eagles, the emblem of the United States.
Created in 1982, the eagle reserve on the Chilkat River is the largest concentration of bald eagles in the world. In fact, no fewer than 4 000 of them come together to take advantage of the salmon lifts that allow them to build reserves for the winter. A museum presents the work of protection and conservation, thus presenting the presentation of this mythical animal, which became the emblem of the United States.
