The only thematic museum dedicated to the history of the hammer in Haines displaying over 2,000 hammers.
A thematic museum dedicated to the hammer, its use, form and manufacture from the earliest times through the colonial, industrial and modern era. Original and finally different from many other tourist places. Its opening in 2002 is due to a collector Dave Pahl who spent many years collecting these tools, a collection that has been enriched over time by donations. More than 2,000 hammers are on display in this museum. It is the only museum in the world exclusively dedicated to the history of the hammer!
