Built in 1897, during the gold rush, this saloon was the first to serve alcohol, it was also a "brothel". Today, the Far-West atmosphere remains, but the "ladies' companions" are now content to serve the drinks. The menu also retains traces of the past and you can choose between a "Madam Jan", a "Big Dessie" in the form of pizza, a "Cocotte" or a "Ménage à trois" in the form of a sandwich, all for a reasonable price. In the evenings, we come here to have a drink, with live music on the weekends as a bonus.

L'ambiance au red onion saloon à Skagway m'a donné l'envie d'y retourner. Trop sympa!
