SKAGWAY visitors bureau
Tourist office offering packages and free guided tours in English accompanied by a park ranger.
The tourist office is a gold mine for information, maps, and agendas of Skagway's festivities, in a most original building that stands out by its architecture on the main street. Packages and free guided tours (in English) are offered to discover the history of the town, its buildings and notable characters (Mascot Saloon, Soapy Smith's Saloon, etc.) in small groups accompanied by a park ranger. It is also possible to take a walking tour of the historic site of Dyea with a guide (in English, from June to early September).
